Definitely not. We are far from bored and time just flies when having fun.
It’s Week Two but there are a multitude of things to see and do in Menorca, lots of ways to fill the day or the evening.
Those Hoopoes keep us amused for ages. And they never ever get stuck in the nest hole.
It's a steady and interesting route to pretty and colourful Es Migjorn where the sunny walk demands a cooling beer afterwards.
At Es Grau again.
At the Nature Reserve near Es Grau there's a chance of seeing Squacco Herons.
At Fornells there's shelter of sorts from an often unrelenting sun but from where you can watch the sleepy harbour; or perhaps take out that set of watercolour paints you've been meaning to try?
Mints after dinner and owl watching time.
There's even More from Menorca soon on Another Bird Blog. Apologies for not visiting too many blogs and I will catch up with everyone soon.

Fantastic images, the look is superb, thanks Phil.
Phil, your Menorca vacation looks wonderful. The Hoopoe and the Bee Eater are cool birds. Cool sighting of the Squacco heron, it looks similar to our Night Herons here. The watercolor is gorgeous! The Scops Owl is cute, I love all the owls.. Great post and photos. Enjoy your time away!
Gee, life is tough huh? Who did the water colour of the bee-eaters?
:) so no doubt, the Hoopoe cuts that hole out itself (like a woodie does). I'm assuming here and that's not always a good thing. Or has it found someone else's? That's such a good shot as an intro Phil. Sheez, and then you really top it off with that stunning Bee Eater shot! Some artists/watercolour of the pair of them - such talent, I'm feeling like Kermit now. (Yes you had the M.I.A. right)
I couldn't even imagine being bored ever on that wonderful Island. Would love to visit it. Those hoopooes are hilarious looking anyway and especially in that tiny entry.
All looks so nice. Some excellent pictures. Wish I was there! I want to see a Hoopoe up close like that.
The Bee Eaters are beautiful. I have watercolors I play with, too, but my paintings never come out as well as yours.
Beautiful place and fantastic photographs!
Greetings
I don't one can ever get bored when there are owls to seen and photograph. The Squacco Heron looks very similar to our Pond-heron in non-breeding plumage.
Okay, you did it.
You left me speechless.
Continue to enjoy yourselves!
Vibrant hues of blue and other wondrous colour in the sky and the buildings and those Bee Eaters are gloriously stunning once again, WOW. I am so glad that you all are enjoying some down time, always a great refresher for the coming months. The shadow image is marvelous Phil. Happy week 2 and happy weekend~
Wonderful birds. I love the bee eaters. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
I am amazed at the wonderful birds. Thank you for virtually sharing them, and the comforting words about our red-wing moulting!
Looks like a wonderful trip... stunning images
