Sorry there’s no recent news. Sue and I are in Skiathos, Greece for a few days. Back soon but in the meantime there are pictures from recent years in Skiathos. Enjoy, and don’t forget to “click the pics” of Skiathos and its birds.

  1. Back to jumping around in the jimny again I see! Enjoy your well deserved holiday on Skiathos.
Your bird images are excellent. I loved the little red-backed shrike! Happy Birding on your Greek Island Paradise :)

  2. I hope you are spending your checks wisely. The ones you are obviously receiving from the Greek Travel Ministry.

What simply lovely images! The birds, the beach, the views, the grilled chicken. My kind of place. Apparently, yours, too.

You two enjoy your home away from home! We'll keep a light on for you here.

(Post-hurricane birding is a bit slow as all public access facilities remain closed due to safety concerns. We have been out quite a bit and have been amazed at how many trees are uprooted, how much water there is covering everything and how resilient are our citizens in attacking immediate issues.)

  9. The gorgeous Isabelline Wheatear, Red-backed Shrike and the European Shag are all the stunners for me this stop over. I enjoyed seeing the images from where you and Sue have journeyed before and happy to hear you are enjoying some down time once again. I have not had a vacation for three years this month...other than a week spent in Florida with my daughter...that counts I am thinking. Have a marvelous adventure.
