I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and this past Friday, my wife and I came upon an adult Saw-Whet Owl out in the bush. This was the first time as birders that we had ever seen a Saw-Whet Owl. Fortunately, we had our camera with us and got some good pictures and video. We have posted them for anyone interested at: http://frametoframe.ca/photo-essay-northern-saw-whet-owl-sightingAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00862905632247327839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-23436328114757138812012-02-27T13:51:37.226+00:002012-02-27T13:51:37.226+00:00I used to love watching the hares in early spring ...I used to love watching the hares in early spring on the Ribble marshes.............I've seen the grant total of one wild rabbit/hare in 12 years in Japan.Stuart Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103599639814558640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-330026229316909862012-02-26T08:39:52.782+00:002012-02-26T08:39:52.782+00:00Good news about the Little Owls Phil.
