Bur for one who has never seen one, its a striking bird! Enjoyed your research on the Sea Buckthorn, as well.Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11301484477954719161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-66017411980158882912010-02-23T20:27:36.991+00:002010-02-23T20:27:36.991+00:00Beautiful pictures.Beautiful pictures.CE Websterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09079522429896600998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-75180669862960066432010-02-23T12:04:54.750+00:002010-02-23T12:04:54.750+00:00Agree completely Phil, but most targeters dont buy...Agree completely Phil, but most targeters dont buy bird reports unless it is a site guide and most of that is now on the internet. Most of them dont use the info in the species accounts as a means of locating birds - this info is not specific enough for their short time-span at each site. I tend to try and help e.g. the Purp info on the Heysham site today - these have been really difficult for whistle-stop targeters this year, and hopefully they will change into birders who might stay around a bit longer and start looking for their own birds. Sadly, these people ARE a majority these days, but plenty of time for them to change or move on to caddis fly twitching.Pete Marshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09461363671751316069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-74169155823465332122010-02-23T08:19:07.999+00:002010-02-23T08:19:07.999+00:00One and the same Peter. One and the same Peter.Phil Sladehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01846400106748443969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526180646938954660.post-70780706488700219432010-02-22T21:55:27.556+00:002010-02-22T21:55:27.556+00:00Another excellent and interesting read Phil.
